TRAINING FACILITY
ARKANSAS STATE POLICE
WER worked closely with the Arkansas State Police Foundation and the Arkansas State Police to develop a comprehensive training campus at Camp Robinson. As the second building designed for the complex, the Arkansas State Police Training Facility expanded the campus’s capabilities by providing dedicated spaces for instruction, administration, technology-based training, and specialized exercises.
The completed facility provides offices for training instructors and administrative personnel, creating a centralized base of operations for programs conducted throughout the complex. Three flexible training classrooms feature operable partition walls that allow spaces to be combined or separated, providing a range of classroom configurations to accommodate different group sizes, training formats, and instructional needs.
The facility also incorporates dedicated areas for virtual driving instruction, expanding the campus’s capabilities beyond traditional classroom-based training. Technology and infrastructure were integrated throughout the building to support evolving training methods and specialized programs. Connections for the Mobile Incident Command Center further extend the facility’s capabilities, allowing the center to be incorporated into on-site training exercises and providing opportunities to simulate realistic emergency response and incident management scenarios.
Through close collaboration with the Arkansas State Police Foundation and Arkansas State Police, WER created a flexible and technology-forward training environment tailored to the agency’s operational needs. Together with the Precision Driving Track Complex, the facility forms an integrated training environment that supports classroom instruction, virtual training, and hands-on, scenario-based learning.
