The Legacy of Charles Witsell

It is with a heavy heart that we are sharing that our founding partner, Charles Witsell Jr. FAIA, passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 81. Charles and Don Evans started the firm of Witsell and Evans in 1978 in two rooms in the back of Charles and Becky’s home in downtown Little Rock. Charles was a mentor and friend to everyone at WER and we are so saddened by this loss. Charles will be missed but the legacy he and Don created at Witsell and Evans lives on in the work of everyone that has and will be a part of WER.
