LUMBERJACK ARENA
WARREN SCHOOL DISTRICT
WER Architects, in association with Odom Architecture, designed the new Lumberjack Arena for Warren High School, providing the Warren School District with a modern, multipurpose athletic and community facility. The 43,000-square-foot arena seats approximately 1,850 spectators, allowing Warren High School to host state basketball tournaments while providing a new home for the district’s athletic programs and community events.
The facility was designed to support a broad range of student-athletes and activities. Dedicated locker rooms are provided for men’s and women’s varsity basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s softball, and cheer. Coaches’ offices and locker rooms support athletic staff, while a hospitality suite provides dedicated space for special guests and events. A 50-person team film room offers student-athletes and coaches a dedicated environment for team meetings, film review, preparation, and instruction.
Beyond athletics, Lumberjack Arena was designed as a flexible community asset. Since opening in 2023, the Warren School District has utilized the facility to host community events and gatherings, expanding the arena’s role beyond competition and providing the district with a versatile venue for activities throughout the year. The facility also created a new setting for important school traditions and milestones, including Warren High School’s graduation ceremonies.
The completed Lumberjack Arena provides Warren with a high-quality athletic venue capable of accommodating state-level competition while strengthening the connection between the school district and the broader community. Through flexible event spaces, comprehensive athletic support facilities, and a welcoming spectator environment, WER created a multipurpose destination designed to serve Warren students, families, athletes, and residents for years to come.
