Preserve, connect, inspire. how cane hill’s architecture rebuilds a sense of place
John Greer, WER Architects Principal, spoke at the September ADN: Architecture + Design Network Lecture Series about the history and architectural significance of Historic Cane Hill. Cane Hill is a community whose buildings and landscape reflect an important chapter in Arkansas history. Drawing from WER’s experience preserving, renovating, and restoring multiple historic properties of Cane Hill, John explored the challenges and opportunities of working within a historic community, the importance of thoughtful preservation, and how architecture can honor a place’s past while giving its buildings renewed purpose for the future.
You can watch his lecture below. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
