WER Architects/Planners is pleased to announce that project designer, James Meyer, has passed the ARE exams and is a licensed architect.

David Sargent joined WER Architects/Planners in 1986 and was named CEO in 2006. Many of his projects have received awards, including being a part of the team that won a National AIA Design Award for the Clinton Presidential Center.

Director at EXIT Marketing | Brand Development. She specializes in marketing strategy, research and management, and has worked in a wide range of industries including healthcare, financial and hospitality.

Lauren Mesker, Interiors Assistant, has been been promoted to Interior Designer. Lauren joined WER as a summer intern and was hired full time to the interior design department in October 2012. Lauren has been working alongside fellow designers at WER on projects ranging from college dormitories to office renovations. Lauren graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelors of Arts, emphasis in Interior Design.

WER Architects/Planners is pleased to announce that project designer, Mason Ellis, has passed the ARE exams and is a licensed architect. Mason joined WER in 2006 to gain experience in all aspects of the design process with a special interest in WER’s Restoration work.

John Greer, Jr., WER Architects/Planners Principal, named the 2013 Board President for HPAA-Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas. The Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas has been a statewide voice for preservation in Arkansas for over twenty-five years.

Wes Garrett, AIA, has joined the WER Architects/Planners team as a project architect. As an Architect with twenty-three years experience, Wes brings a “broad-brush” approach to design and architecture.

WER Architects has promoted Jerome Sorensen, AIA, CSI, LEED AP and Toni Wyre, ASID, ASRID, LEED AP to associate level positions in the firm.

Jerome joined WER Architects by making a geographical career move with his family from Detroit, Michigan to Little Rock, Arkansas. Architecture, antiquities and ecology are his greatest interests with the foremost being his profession and the latter being his obsessions.

After operating a successful and award-winning design firm, Toni joined WER in May, 2009 and was named Director of Interiors shortly after. Toni is known for creating warm and inviting interiors and brings more than 12 years of broad experience in healthcare, corporate, education, hospitality, and retail to WER.
