Russell Fason Named WER Architects CEO
As we close celebrating our 45th year, WER Architects is pleased to announce Russell Fason, AIA, LEED AP, has been named CEO of WER Architects. Russell has been an integral part of WER Architects since 2004. A partner since 2015, leading design, sustainability, and client service, building on WER’s core values.
Tontitown Central Fire Station Grand Opening
The new Tontitown Central Fire Station officially opened in January. WER began working with the City of Tontitown on a Feasibility Study in early 2021 and are thrilled to see this new facility open!

WER Architects’ historic preservation, restoration and renovation of Martin Hall on the Hendrix College campus, in Conway, Arkansas, has been recognized as an award-winning benchmark facility for its incorporation of next generation learning space design and planning methodologies.

The WER team has extensive experience in designing storm shelters, having designed both FEMA 361 Safe Rooms and ICC 500 Storm Shelters. Grand Opening Celebration at UCA
The Windgate Center of Fine and Performing Arts held a seal breaking ceremony and grand opening this past week! It was an evening of celebration and immersive art experiences as UCA kicked off the "Ovation: Shaping the Arts in Arkansas" performance series.
WER Announces New Intern Architect
Meredith joined the WER Architects team in June after earning her Bachelors of Architecture with a minor in History of Architecture from the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas.
45 Years of WER
On June 1, 1978, Charles Witsell and Don Evans started Witsell and Evans Architects in Little Rock, Arkansas. Forty-five years later, WER Architects is one of the largest architecture and interior designs firms in the state. We are so grateful for the clients, partners and friends we have made over these last 45 years. We sure have had a lot of fun! Cheers to the future and the next 45 years!
