When spring classes begin Jan. 16 at UA Little Rock, the 650 students enrolled in fine and applied arts classes will find themselves in a sleek three-story, steel-panel-clad heaven of an arts facility.

The Little Rock Technology Park Authority Board on Wednesday chose WER Architects/Planners of Little Rock to design the second phase of its $100 million, six-phase project.

Cleveland, OH – October 1, 2017 – WER Architects/Planners has received an OUTSTANDING PROJECT Award for excellence in educational facility design in the fall 2017 edition of LEARNING BY DESIGN, the premier source for education design innovation and excellence.

The Chi Omega Sorority House was featured in the August issue of At Home In Arkansas. This was an exciting project for our team to work on – the original 1926 house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and had been added onto twice.

James Meyer, AIA, WER Associate, attended the 2014 AIA Gulf States Emerging Professional Symposium this past November in New Orleans. WER project architect, James Meyer, penned the article Pop Up In The Rock: Improving Your City One Weekend At A Timefor the latest issue of Blueprint magazine. The article discusses the changing perspectives of what makes a city great and how the Pop Up In The Rock event is helping communities visualize these changes.

Congratulations to WER Associate, Russ Fason, on being selected as one of Arkansas Business Publishing Group’s top 40 business professionals under the age of 40 in state of Arkansas.

WER Architects is excited to announce that Conway High School was awarded with a 2014 Learning By Design Outstanding Project Award. WER designed and completed Conway High School in two phases, all built on the existing site of the school.

David Sargent joined WER Architects/Planners in 1986 and was named CEO in 2006. Many of his projects have received awards, including being a part of the team that won a National AIA Design Award for the Clinton Presidential Center.

Mason Ellis, WER Architects/Planners architect, gave a presentation yesterday at a press conference for a proposed multi-use trail to link Little Rock to Hot Springs along an abandoned rail line.
